This is a submission for Ebitengine Holiday Hack 2024. I use it as reason to update my Hanashi library to add support for keyboard input and sound. You can press the spacebar to proceed to the next dialogue.

Nice short story with some funny moments. I really like the sound effects throughout. This is neat VN engine you've created.
I'm still wondering if the decision to "put chilly in" has any effect on the story... I tried both as well as failing the little action sequence but wasn't able to tell.
it change the hitpoint of the monster. If you put chilly in, it wilk set the hp to 3 instead of 6
Before I knew it I was just sitting here smiling waiting to see what happened next :D
When I first hit play I thought it may be more of a tech demo but it did have some depth to it! Nice work!
